The Denver Art Museum was really an incredible experience. I had a lot of fun. I went with my girlfriend who is an artist and a Colorado Native. It was really neat to not only see the art, but also to see it through her. If you have someone special I recommend going here and asking questions. My favorite moments were when we'd explain our interpretations of the work to each other. I was sad I didn't find anything that caught my eye at the gift shop but I'm sure others had a very different experience there.

The new building and existing building are absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. There are childrens activities if you have kids. The cafe and restaurant are amazing and priced right. Would definitely recommend having a few hours to get a thorough view of as many exhibits as you can.

Well done museum with great colors and lighting. All the little rooms and hallways, passageways give intimacy to the art provided. It makes me feel like I could enjoy without a lot of people around. Good selection of exhibits, bathrooms are always close. Tip: Take the elevator to the top, work your way down. The map isn't a good guide and it seemingly leaves out a lot of the museum.

What a great museum! Awesome exhibitions. They were also having a printmaking event where you could watch and talk to artists making prints using different methods. Would definitely come back for a second look.

There is some meter parking around the museum, several surface parking lots and the city-operated Cultural Center Parking Garage (enter from 12th Ave. a little west of Broadway).
We are open 10 am-5 pm daily, with extended hours until 8 pm on Friday.
You can buy tickets online, at the door or by phone. For special exhibitions, we strongly recommend purchasing tickets ahead to avoid disappointment. Many time slots, and even entire days, sell out ahead of time. (Note: general museum admission is included with all special exhibition tickets.)
We do not have partnerships for discounts as such, but for some exhibitions--including Dior--we collaborate with some local hotels which create packages that include lodging and VIP tickets (undated, untimed) to the exhibition. For the Dior exhibition you can see participating hotels at the website https://diorindenver.com/

The Monet exhibition cannot be extended beyond Feb. 2 as it is committed to an opening date at the second and last venue in Potsdam, Germany.
Denver is the only stop in the US. The exhibit moves to Museum Barberini in Potsdam, Germany in the spring.
