Having multiple smoke alarm batteries fail at the same time is very unlikely. You may want to investigate that you do not have a carbon monoxide issue as it can be fatal. This is not something that you should wait on doing.

Slide the battery out pull it away from the terminals if it's a 9-volt then you could just push a new one in there

Most smoke alarms have a 5 yr life span. If you got them all new. I agree about carbon monoxide, but by now you would be dead. Play it safe put all new smoke/carbon in

Most alarms are hardwired and even if they weren't, the batteries rarely all go at once. I'd have someone come check your CO levels ASAP. Go outside, open windows, breathe in fresh air. Seriously, that doesn't sound like a coincidence. Get it checked.
