We went into Gallops looking to buy all new riding gear for my wife. Could not get service, she is new to English riding. I had planned on spending 2500 or more to get her fully outfitted. We are going to go down to Salem and spend our $ at Double H instead, even though they have less of a selection for English riding gear.

I have loved Gallops for 20 years! I first discovered the store when I moved with my parents from Nashville to Portland, and I’ve been coming here ever since! The quality of their products is hard to beat, the prices are on target, the staff are knowledgeable and helpful, their mobil store is set up at the shows, and the main store itself has a lot of visual appeal. I’ve taken family and friends who are not horse people here and even they are impressed. Keep up the good work Gallops, you are very appreciated!

This place is so much fun to go to. The staff obviously enjoy helping English and Dressage riders alike find what they need to succeed in the arena. They're priced a little steep compared to other similar stores, but they carry higher quality brands and they're located in a more affluent part of the Valley, so they get a pass for that.
