Went for breakfast and got the souvlaki breakfast beef, should have got the chicken beef heavy taste oregano, yuck way too much... left awful taste in mouth all day my fault. home fries with onion. way too much onion real big chucks. the toast was great, eggs were tasteless. My husband got eggs, sausages, toast and pancakes. sausage, duh, pancakes are buckwheat, overdone and not buttermilk pancakes not tasty. disappointing, coffee was good But atmosphere was good, and waitress was very nice Bill was over $33. dollar we still left a tip.

The French Toast wasn't the best I've ever had, but the omelettes, corned beef hash, and lunch fare like pizza logs, tendies, and fries are as good as anyplace in my area, and at good prices too.

I will start by saying I love Sheridan Restaurant, I have been going there for years, and will continue to do so. That being said, I am giving only three stars due to inconsistency of service, NOT the food (always amazing). Their french toast, fish, chicken finger meal and others are all wonderful. I can go in there one Friday for their delicious fish and have a WONDERFUL experience and then go back the following Friday, still have the delicious fish but have horrible service. Food has NEVER been an issue, always delicious and hot, (best chicken finger value in Buffalo in my opinion). The service is just sooo inconsistent. Last time I went (Fri 3/25/2022) was the latest example of horrible service. We were seated quickly, drink order was taken by hostess (as is customary here) but drinks never came. Waitress finally came over after about 15 minutes and stated "Didn't you get your drinks?". After we responded "no" she started going off about how busy they were, and understaffed. Well, it was Friday during lent, so of course it was busy since they offer such a delicious fish dinner, but them being shorthanded isn't my fault but we understand and just deal with it, but we shouldn't have to hear about it. We were missing a set of silverware, so we asked for one and it seemed to be a bother to her. We were not offered refills on coffee or soda. Suddenly when it came time to drop off the check she perked up. It seems like there has been a huge turnover of servers recently, always new faces we haven't seen before, so I at least give them credit for trying to find replacements. Like I said in the beginning I will Happily return again and again but would like to see the consistency tightened up a bit.......Is Bonita not there anymore, she was always FANTASTIC!!

Let me be direct here! I would NOT go here again if someone paid me to! We arrived at 1140AM today (11/21/2021) for lunch. I used to come here growing up, and remember the “good old days” when this place WAS great! Those days are LONG GONE! The ONLY reason for the second star is that our server was nice, despite being relatively busy (working 4 tables from what I could see). We ordered 2 “Footlong” Texas Hots (Hot Dogs with their house made Greek Hot Dog Sauce, mustard, and onions) We also ordered a BLT. Neither of which came with anything on the side (which is shameful). So we paid extra for French fries. The food (as simple an order as they come) took 22 minutes to come to the table. That’s painfully slow. That’s not “we were short-staffed”, or “the stove stopped working” slow….that’s “we fired all our staff, burned down the restaurant, and rebuilt before making your order…slow” They brought out a BLT that in all markets would be “fair” for quality and appearance. The tomatoes were a tad beyond “best by” date if you ask me. The Footlong hotdogs were 2 standard hot dogs in a Footlong bun with onions, mustard and store bought spaghetti sauce on them. They were absolutely disgusting. The toasted bun was toasted perfectly on top, and was burned so badly on the bottom, I needed “dental records” to identify it. We paid almost $30 for this trash. I wouldn’t serve it in a homeless shelter. The restaurant appears to be an old run down Pizza Hut, which desperately needs a good deep cleaning. Steer clear of this dumpster fire. *This review is not intended to reflect poorly on our server, she was pleasant, and helpful.
