We stop here frequently on road trips, but the still have not opened the dining in! It would be nice to use the bathroom where we are eating instead of having to walk over to Wendy's. Our order from the takeout came without spoons, straws, ketchup (asked for when ordering) or napkins. Rather frustrating when forced to drive thru only.

Moving back to Pittsburgh (we used to live in NC for a few years) made me realize how much I missed Cook Out. When we went on a trip to VA, and seeing the Cook Out there, we knew we had to go at least once before coming back to PA. Definitely wasn't disappointed! So much food for the price. A lot of bang for your buck. The chicken nuggets (even though not a lot for a side) were so tender, you wouldn't think that it was fast food. The milkshake was so thick, it took 10-15 minutes for me to even be able to drink it. So good. I miss this establishment!

My son suggested this restaurant. Although the prices are great, the food is mediocre at best. They do have a variety of milkshakes at prices I haven’t seen since the 90s. They still have no inside dining, so you have to use the drive-thru. They were nice enough to put up a sign suggesting you use the shorter of two lines. There is such a wide variety of offerings on the menu, first timers will hold up the line as they peruse the items. Since this is located near James Madison University, it’s probably caters to them.

Did not have a full burger one of the nest was a half meat. And you can see what the lettuce look like. Very disappointed.
