We stopped here looking forward to a great breakfast and didn’t even eat! We weren’t welcomed into the establishment because no one was at the door. When we were finally seated no one came until we got up and asked a young lady to come over and that was after 30 minutes!!!! The young lady came to take our order and we ordered our drinks and meal at the same time. I ordered green tea…she brought me decaffeinated tea(because it has a green stripe on the pack) I couldn’t believe it. We looked around and customers were waiting to order all over the restaurant. Finally the server comes over and says they don’t have white cheddar cheese..::we ordered American cheese. That was the final straw. After waiting over an hour and still no food…we cancelled our order. The restaurant is not managed at all and needs a overhaul! Don’t go here unless you’re not hungry and have over two (2) hours to waste!
True Review
This is the worst IHOP I’ve been to. The service was horrible. It took a long time to be acknowledged and seated, even though there were empty seats. The server had body odor and was just unkempt. The restaurant needs a serious cleaning. It definitely was not maintained. The food took approximately twenty minutes and was cold. I will never return.

Upon my arrival (party of 2 at 10am), I was told 20 minute wait. A gentleman next to me (in the lobby) acknowledged he already waited beyond 20 minutes. About five minutes later, there were more people in the waiting area than seated in table area. Moments later, another couple arrived and they were told 45 wait time. After I overheard 45 wait time, I decided to leave. The Jenkintown I-Hop is poorly staffed (or lack of) and totally disorganized.

My family ate at this IHOP this morning and it was such a great experience. I am disabled and have an emotional support dog. The hostess and our waitress were phenomenal. They were not only very attentive to us but to my dog as well. They made sure she had water and even bought her food. I was so appreciative of the service they gave us. If you are looking for a restaurant that welcomes service animals this is definitely the place.

They are sitting every other table with sneeze guards in place!! Very clean they wipe both top and sides of tables when diners leave!
They have what they call a senior menu which is available to everyone and offers smaller portions. The menu does say 55+
Animals are not allowed into any food place, including grocery stores. It is a major health code violation and can result in the business losing their permit to operate.
They do have free meals for children (if ordered from kids menu) during the evenings. You can ask about the birthday meal
