Loch Raven Merrymans Trail Parking

I Love to come here and have been coming here with my young son for 5 years since he was 5 to hike and explore. The parking is good and the in and out trails are flat for the most part. It is a good place to ride a bicycle or bring a dog as we always see tons of families and solo flyers doing both. My favorite part of Merryman trail is the part that leads about 3/4 of a mile to an easy to access beautiful waterfall and out to the Loch Raven reservoir.

direct access to the lake which is stunning. 😍 the trail closest to the lake (the pink ribbon one) could use a bit of tlc and parking is limited.

Nice loop trail heavily wooded and secluded. Nice way to connect with nature. Stream ends at the bottom to a small waterfall. Open fishing area and great photo opportunities. Would recommend
