Entered restaurant, sat down about 5 seats down the service bar. Waitress walked by, as in front of me on otherwise of counter. Next walk by, I said good morning kinda loudly, she looked up surprised, and said good morning back. Couple orders up, she delivers, ok no worries. She then walks into the back, away from site, right-side looking in. I sat there for 3 minutes, then left. No, not only three minutes. From sitting down to good morning was the first 6 minutes, then the other 3. Could have been a hero by only asking if I wanted coffee, but .....

Small diner feel, but big flavors. Truly the best breakfast in Mount Airy. So many delicious options it takes a minute to look over the menu and make a selection, but it doesn't really matter what you order because it's all amazing! Just a shame they're only open until 230 pm each day.

This was our first time checking it out. Food was good and portions are generous. Staff was friendly and on top of everything. Definitely plan to go back!

A local gem! Food is super yummy, generous, and arrived hot. We ordered the corned beef hash with a side of pancake and the firehouse breakfast platter. The hash has a nice crispy edge and seasoned just right. Pancake on the griddle, tender with a slight crisp edge, good texture. Country fried steak excellent! Crispy and juicy with a balanced gravy. Seasoned potatoes are good. Service is excellent! We enjoyed our breakfast. Stop by if you're passing through Mt Airy 😀
