A great and relatively easy trail with many nice views of the reservoir. Bring a fishing rod if you like as there are many prime spots along the trail to trow a line.

Amazing trial, hike around water. Easy to follow trail. Whole family enjoyed the hike. Whole trail is approximately 8 miles. We only did around 2 miles but had a great time. Lots of shade and dog friendly.

So disappointed as this trail had so much potential I had read about the muddy low areas but since it had not rained all that- much prior to my visit on 4/22 I figured it would be OK. It was not, one area resembled the rice fields of Laos. Hiking around it would have been problematic, getting my mountain bike through it was nearly impossible. Next there was a severe blowdown issue, they really need to get a crew with chainsaws out there. There were easily 10-12 trees across the path and most needed me to get off my bike and carry it across. Finally leaving the park to go south at afternoon rush hour meant crossing Route 32 with fast moving traffic coming from both directions, from the left you have traffic coming around a bend so they were bind until right on you, I saw one truck nearly get hit as he crossed, I finally gave up and turned right, then had to turn around.

There are roadside spaces right next to trail on RT 32 entrance. Room to get kids and dog out car and put on packs. I would say 5 to 8 cars can park.
