This gym membership has been worth every penny. It gets crowded during peak hours, but if you can avoid the crowds it’s great. I also like the fitness classes there. My instructor Darwin was super knowledgeable and he even took time after class to teach me some exercises for injury prevention. If you’re looking for a trainer, I highly recommend Darwin at Mesa Rim Mission Valley

AMAZING climbing gym! Their walls are super high, the routes are really interesting, the staff is awesome, and the workout area is nicely stocked. Plus, if you're in town for a few days they have a great weekly pass option that's more affordable than multiple day prices. I BADLY wish this was our local gym! We will definitely be back whenever we're in San Diego!

Great atmosphere, something for everyone and all skill levels. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The climbing gym members are always supportive of each other, when someone completes a difficult climb or move or even just barley miss something you often hear someone cheer for them or encourage them.

Great climbing gym. Professional staff, and great climbs. I love top roping and these climbs were nice and long with a variety of challenging paths for beginners and advanced climbers.

Michael Martines There are dumbells, weight plates, four squat racks, gymnast rings, and a cable machine. The whole gym is one open layout so the gym equipment is in the far right corner from the entrance.
People go solo all the time. Front desk will help you out with finding a belay partner, or you can settle up with their awesome bouldering section
Hi Bruce! An adult day pass is $28. A rental package for shoes and a harness is $11. Shoes only are $7. A harness only is $6. Our best deal is a $43 week pass that includes your rentals and access to climbing, a belay lesson, fitness and yoga for 7 days!
Roughly 30 for a day pass and 10 for a shoe and harness rental. Many members have guest passes that they can get you in for free with.
There is a variety of classes that are initially focused on safety in the gym but all would apply outside. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and will be a great way to start.
There isn't one really. There's a kids area upstairs, but I've seen little children climbing on the regular walls. They just need to be watched.
Yes! We offer all the gear you need from climbing shoes to harnesses and even chalk bags!
Nope! There are no auto belays at either of the Mesa locations. However, if you visit the front desk the crew there will gladly find a belay partner for you
They have yoga mats available
We offer a large bouldering area with new climbs every week. A day pass is $22 and we offer discounts for military, students and first responders.
Hi Misael, A monthly membership is $81 and $72 for student/military/EMT/police. A membership does not include climbing gear but does include yoga. We have about 5 yoga classes/day Mon-Fri and 2/day Sat-Sun. A day pass will also give you access to yoga that day. Feel free to check out our website for our yoga and other class schedule :) https://mesarim.com/missionvalley/
