This gym membership has been worth every penny. It gets crowded during peak hours, but if you can avoid the crowds it’s great. I also like the fitness classes there. My instructor Darwin was super knowledgeable and he even took time after class to teach me some exercises for injury prevention. If you’re looking for a trainer, I highly recommend Darwin at Mesa Rim Mission Valley

AMAZING climbing gym! Their walls are super high, the routes are really interesting, the staff is awesome, and the workout area is nicely stocked. Plus, if you're in town for a few days they have a great weekly pass option that's more affordable than multiple day prices. I BADLY wish this was our local gym! We will definitely be back whenever we're in San Diego!

Great atmosphere, something for everyone and all skill levels. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The climbing gym members are always supportive of each other, when someone completes a difficult climb or move or even just barley miss something you often hear someone cheer for them or encourage them.

Great climbing gym. Professional staff, and great climbs. I love top roping and these climbs were nice and long with a variety of challenging paths for beginners and advanced climbers.

Hi Bruce! An adult day pass is $28. A rental package for shoes and a harness is $11. Shoes only are $7. A harness only is $6. Our best deal is a $43 week pass that includes your rentals and access to climbing, a belay lesson, fitness and yoga for 7 days!

Raphael | Aug 17, 2021

Roughly 30 for a day pass and 10 for a shoe and harness rental. Many members have guest passes that they can get you in for free with.

Jaime Lambert | Aug 17, 2021
David Weber | Aug 17, 2021

There is a variety of classes that are initially focused on safety in the gym but all would apply outside. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and will be a great way to start.

What is the age limit on the bouldering area?

Red Panda | Aug 17, 2020
Kenny Hatfield | Aug 17, 2020

There isn't one really. There's a kids area upstairs, but I've seen little children climbing on the regular walls. They just need to be watched.
