Great ambience from the past. Great breakfast joint. Eggs over medium, bacon crisp and home fries with toast. The portions were generous. Good value and friendly service.

My hidden gem of Astoria. Best bang for your buck when it comes to breakfast in town. Really good pancakes and clam chowder. Fun environment with pinball and gambling. Staff is always super friendly.

Hostess was a bit much for us just wanting to go to the bar to play the poker machines but the rest of the service was amazing!! We did end up staying for breakfast and the food was FANTASTIC... husband and I split a breakfast burrito and side of potatoes!!! We will definitely be return customers!!!

I've been sitting on this review for about a month... I just cant make up my mind how I feel about this place. I've been there twice and both times I received good service. The first time I went for a late breakfast. The burrito I got was huge and tasty. It seemed like a very small hole in the wall diner. The second time I went for drinks on a Thursday night. There was a DJ doing karaoke, which was fantastic, but it made me realize that my first impression of the place was based on only a small section of the actual restaurant. There's a division between the front narrow entrance with booths where I had breakfast, and the bar behind it, and then there's a whole big open third section with a stage and more seating. So I've been having a hard time deciding which section best conveys the actual vibe of the place. The back has Christmas and Halloween decorations still up and pinball machines. It seems like a really nice laid back place for people to get together and relax. It's fun but doesn't mesh super well with the family diner feeling of the front section. Overall I liked all the parts of this bar / restaurant / entertainment venue and I'll definitely go back at some point, even if the name and building layout leave me a little confused.
