It was a fast and easy oil exchange. The gentlemen was able to offer me military discount as well.luckily my work is walking distance so I dropped it off before the beginning of my shift and was done in 45 minutes

I’ve used this business plenty in the past. I have 3 work vans and a family suv. My brakes were acting up in one of the vans, so I went to Schwab at 9 am, their lot was FULL, 2 hour wait to get checked. So I went to these guys and their lot was EMPTY, and they were friendly as always, so I left the van there and went to do a little shopping. Took about 1-1 1/2 hours to get the news, needed new brakes, rotors and calipers on the rear. $1500!! Which included almost $600!! In labor alone. I told them that was ridiculous in the nicest way possible. They were not willing to make a deal in any way. So I called Schwab in port orchard, over the phone, they were able to schedule me for the same exact service for $732!! What I was expecting from these guys. I will take my business elsewhere from now on…sad, I think it’s management issues.

So I bought a new(er) car and didn’t realize that full synthetic oil was suggested. I drive for a living so even though I’m in a Honda I try hard to keep maintenance up and costs down. First things first, they were $20 less than others nearby. Ok but what we all want to know is did they do it right and we’re there surprise charges? Definite yes and no in that order. I ended up talking with Ron, the owner or manager, for the entire time about oil, when it should be changed, vehicle needs when you drive 40k+ miles a year and such. He is very knowledgeable and personable. Like most people my age (I grew up turning a knob connected to catgut to tune in radio stations) I know enough about engines to have a knowledgeable conversation. Ron knows his business. I highly suggest Precision Tune in Gig Harbor, it’s staffed by the best people I’ve met since moving across the bridge. And Monica who works the office/front is a super happy and friendly person as well. Give them a shot!
