Went to go see a drag performance of the Golden Girls and I had a phenomenal experience. The queens were hilarious, the host was amazing, the drinks were perfectly priced...would definitely see another show here(and will when I'm next in Portland!)

Their hours show they’re open on Sundays, but that’s a lie. My partner and I arranged for an Uber to drop us off here only to see that this place wasn’t open, located in an area that is run down with nothing going on. Could’ve been fun but don’t want to waste more money gambling on their hours of operation.

I am a new fan of Funhouse, but the three times that I have been have been incredibly fun. I have attended the Domprov twice and the Golden Girls Live once and I can honestly say that Funhouse might be my favorite place to see live performance in Portland. The venue is small and intimate and the players here are all HILARIOUS. I thoroughly enjoy my time and feel so welcomed here.

You belong here! One of the best Theater/bars you can step for in, in Portland! Keeping Portland weird like it should be. Go see Dom-prov. Dominatrix lead with a set of actors performing some of the best improv Portland has to offer! Strong drinks to boot. You will entertained and slightly uncomfortable. It is a must see!

From their FAQ on their website: "Funhouse Lounge is an all-ages venue until 10:00pm, after which we are strictly 21+. If you have any concerns about the age-appropriateness of a specific show or need clarification about any age restrictions, please reach out to us directly–we’re here to help!"
Don't know. Check with the office!
We have a small menu. This is from our FAQ page on our website: Q: Do you have food? I don’t see a menu on your website! A: We do have food! We offer several varieties of pizza and mac and cheese, a hummus plate (GF, V), chips and salsa (GF, V), chips and queso, a few side options and theater candy. Please check with the bartenders when ordering food, they can let you know the exact availability for the evening. We do allow eating during shows and we also allow outside food, though because of Covid, we are hoping to keep eating to a minimum (masks on as much as possible indoors.)
We are indeed checking vaccine cards at the door and requiring masks unless actively eating or drinking. Here is the policy from the Funhouse website: COVID POLICY: Masking and Vaccination Policy: State and local mask mandates will be observed. Masks will be available at the door. Patrons will be required to wear masks indoors at all times unless actively eating or drinking. Given the nature of the space, distancing is not possible. Patrons are required to show proof of vaccination or have a negative Covid test result from within 48 hours prior to show time. Please do not attend our show if you are feeling sick in any way, we will refund or reschedule your ticket. The mandate stipulates that performers in live theater events are not required to be masked. Our actors will not be masked during this performance. This information is provided so each patron can make a well-informed decision based on their own personal comfort level. These guidelines may change prior to performance.
Typically if you email them they're good about making things work!
