Red Fox Winery and Vineyards was a breath of unusual fresh air. We were there for a tasting on a Sunday afternoon. It is about a mile or so off of Hwy 7. The owner and proprietor, Nick, originally from Armenia was awesome!!! We were able to talk to him at length and, unlike most that have been raised all their lives in America, he understands the value of hard work to create a business that works in our our economy. He, and his wife, Mina, son and grandson run this business and make it what it is today. The wines they have produced are excellent and will accommodate most palates . My favorites were the St Cin, a red blend, and the Truman white, a fruity slightly effervescent white. My daughter's favorites were the Rose' Reserve and the Cherry. I cannot say enough good things about this Winery. They do have a restaurant and do offer a limited daily menu. We will be back when we are In the area. Highly recommended for a Missouri wine stop.

The facility beautiful with vineyards all around. We had Sangria which was delicious. We ate lunch there and the food was amazing! The owner was so friendly and took time to answer all of our questions. I highly recommend stopping there for a delightful experience.

Sitting outside on the Red Fox patio is very calming. The winery has a large, covered outdoor space that looks out at its scenic vineyard and garden. It’s a nice place to relax and watch the sun set. I really enjoyed Red Fox’s sangria which was filled with apples and grapes. My husband and I also took home a bottle of their Vignoles, and we were pleasantly surprised at how much we liked it. The winery’s Moussaka is serious Greek comfort food. I’d definitely recommend it. The dish was filled with eggplant, potatoes and a rich tomato meat sauce. My husband ordered ribs and wasn’t a huge fan. He loves barbecue, but thought his meal was a little dry. However, he liked Red Fox enough that he’d like to go back and try the Chicken Souvlaki. As for service, our waitress was friendly but was covering a lot of tables, so it felt somewhat slow. There was also an offensive smell when she came to the table. We noticed the same smell around the restrooms, but it wasn’t noticeable anywhere else indoors. The inside of the restaurant is spacious and the design is well thought out. There are different types of seating areas to choose from and there are game stations. Overall, the scenery and patio won us over.

Our family went back to Red Fox Winery and had another amazing experience! We tried their new red wine, Three Oaks, and it became my favorite. We had a gyro, burger and fish and it was so delicious! For dessert, we had the tiramisu, which was home made, and it was so wonderful! We learned that they grow blackberry bushes and cherry trees for their wines. They grow fresh vegetables and herbs for their food. This is definitely a place to relax and enjoy!
