We were told we could not stay at the Holiday Inn xp because we had a dog when every HIE we have stayed allowed it. So we went across the street to the Beat Western Plus. Great experience, very pleasant staff!! Our dog got a treat so very pet friendly!!! Our ten year old had just sat in a car for six hours so the pool was a wonderful way to let off some steam. Rooms are very clean. Overall really great!! Also Ruby Tuesday delivered and made our night!! It’s also a very large property that probably has vacancy when booking last minute. Highly recommend.

If you’re staying in North Platte Nebraska, this is your go to for a pleasant overnight stay. While not the most modern decor, if clean, quiet, great breakfast and friendly accommodating staff are important to you, this is the place. Very nice for dog owners with ample areas in back for walks. There is even a small river with lovely docks about 1 block away. We’d definitely come back and recommend this Best Western with flying colors.

One of the better hotels I've stayed in. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of our "suite" -King bed, queen bed AND a full size sofa bed. There was also a desk and chair, the TV/Dresser/mini-fridge unit and then another table with two chairs. Also a big bench and coffee table. The bathroom was decent size, meaning I could stretch out my arms both ways and not touch walls! Nice and clean! There was a closet and counter/coffee station close by the entry. We stayed here two different knights 3 days apart (coming and then going). Their breakfast is amazing. Waffles, fresh fruit, oatmeal bar (with mix-ins), yogurt, cereals and the hot stuff was fantastic. Little omelets, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, hash browns. Juice and coffee station. I'm sure I'm not remembering it all, but I was very impressed! The hotel is kept clean and well maintained.

Positive: Staff was fantastic, beds were extremely comfortable, full breakfast was amazing. Well worth our time and trip to stay at this motel. The rooms didn't have a "cleaning" smell - good for those who have chemical sensitivity. Excellent choice. Negative: No.
