Update They have not returned my email. They returned my fiancé’s. Still no refund. We arrived 7-7-22 to the Fireside cabin. As soon as we walked in we were hit with a strong odor. The bed was absolutely terrible. I didn’t feel comfortable touching the shower curtain. There were only 2 bath towels for 2 ppl for 2 days. We left immediately. Called company to request a refund. I was told to send an email to the company. It has been 2 days and still have not received a response. If I could give this place a negative 0 I would. When I called abt the refund I was asked what was wrong. I wanted to reply with what was right?? Do not waste your time and gas to go there. Also there is a for sale sign on the property.I’m not one to leave a review but this had to be done.

I received an email from the owner William 7 days before our scheduled stay cancelling our Family vacation with no explanation of why. I immediately called him for an explanation of why. He stated that my reservation that had been made 6 months ago was with the previous owners not him. (He called me to confirm and get a deposit 5 months earlier) He was very hesitant to explain and then he just blurted out it is "unforeseen construction" . I explained to him that this has ruined our family vacation and we will not find anywhere else last minute and I will be giving the Meadows a poor review for this. He got angry and said I was threatening him. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for a river vacation. William is lacking major customer service skills and who knows if the Meadows will even be open by the time of your stay.

This year for our Fifth Annual float trip, we decided to "go all out" and rent four cabins for our group. I have to say we are SPOILED now! It was such a joy to deal with Tina and we plan on returning for our 6th annual in 2021! Highly Recommend!

Great place to disconnect from everyday life! The cabin was clean and the owners were very friendly. The location was near plenty of attractions for family fun! The Black River was crystal clear and great for floating with our young children. We would definitely go back!
