I have both bought and sold coins to Silverbug coin shop. Ron is extremely knowledgeable and super helpful. He always makes sure it's a wonderful transaction. It’s comforting to know you’re dealing with a trustworthy business!

Sold both silver and gold at an excellent price. I will go there again when the time comes to sell more silver.

The dealer was very knowledgeable, friendly, easy to work with. We felt that he paid us a fair price for our coins. We have dealt with Silver Bug twice.

The Silverbug Coin shop has array of coins for every fancy and budget. Service is exceptional and extended in a friendly, inviting manner, coupled with knowledge and expertise that one can really appreciate. Its like going to a trusted neighbor. Thanks Ronald for your guidance in choosing the Morgan coins, as these will be a great addition to my humble collection. Looking forward to returning again soon.

1900 was a pretty common year for the Morgan Dollar. If it has an S below the eagle on the back it is worth a bit more but you probably will get $25-30 from a shop for it.
Yes easily a ballpark figure but with coins there are 3 other main variables, but lets say your coins are all: undamaged, uncleaned, not an ex-jewelry mount, authentic, and not suffering environmental/ PVC damage...and are in at least Extra Fine condition (most are due to little circulation). A. 1. Auction price (average) 1913 Philly half eagle expect $870 - $1,150.00 minus auction house fee of 10% ( a common issue coin to collectors) however coins would need certified by NGC, ANACS, PCGS, or ICG ( average cost $33.00 per coin takes 6-10 weeks). I continue on : 2. 1914 $2 1/2 quarter eagle ( semi-key low mintage coin) slightly rare and desirableness to collectors $480 - 800.00 (auction) 3.1905 $5.00 tricky market is finicky auction as low as $460 high $800.00 condition is crucial. Remember am assuming average extra fine condition...uncirculated is what collectors seek. 4. 1853 gold dollar coin ( common) $275 -350.00 this issue is usually struck weakly by worn clashed and tired dies
We hope that very soon this will be over, but until then we do our best to protect ourselves and our customers who are mainly senior citizens. Last year we were closed for over three months, but when we reopened we added the door buzzer to buzz people in (when they are wearing masks of course) and limit capacity to no more then two. My wife cleans the counters between customers. We have a fan and two air filters running to help with ventilation. We are a small family run business and our Goal is to keep our hobby safe and fun for everyone : )
The sign on their door says they are depending on Marion county entering Phase 2.
