Camping with or without horses trails for hiking. Wooded northwest logging country. Also hunters use this area, so share the woods and wear hunter orange. Enjoy the northwest outdoors. See deer, elk, bear, quail, grouse, and many more Wildlife.

I really enjoyed this camp. There was a smell of manure and mosquitoes all over. But also cell reception. The toilets are small and I bumped my peepee on the rim. Not cool. Should have hovered better.

I have been camping here since before it was improved and became a horse camp. I have camped here both with a horse and without. Amazing, well maintained trails. Bathrooms are always clean. Well and water pump for potable water (it's high in iron so tastes metallic and may turn pink when heated but is perfectly safe). Limited number of non-horse campsites, so come before the weekend starts if possible!

There's no fee for day use. Camping overnight is $20 a night.
Yes. You might want to call to see if there's a burn ban in place if having a camp fire is essential for you.
The camp ground is closed but there is a parking area to the west. I would think you could use it if its not filled with hikers and mt bikers
Only the day use area. The gate to the horse camp is still locked. All state camp grounds in the Tillamook, Clatsop, and, Washington county are still closed.
Just show up and pay for your spot
14 day stay limit for all camping in the forest.
It closes September 24
There are two loops, one is open to all, one is equestrians only and that rule is enforced by the camp host. I spent last weekend in the last available regular spot, while the larger horse camp sat completely empty!
