Trails are marked very well! Great updated map. Definitely muddy when it rains. Great trail variety and pretty views, water and tree variety. Start is a paved trail that is unavoidable, super fun when you get to the actual trails. Kind of confusing because there’s a no trespassing sign and not sure if that’s for people that bike it or just cars that aren’t supposed to go on the bike path. Went on a rainy Wednesday morning (around 10-12) and ran into nobody the whole time!

Rode all but the green connector in 4:11:52 on the night of 7/20-21/2021. Watched the sun 🌞 rise from my Basecamp at Johnson Point then took Whitesnake out to the road. Met a 2nd deer 🦌🦌 as I exited the woods. Also held "conversations" with 2 night birds. Great experience.

Awesome variety but the signs need to be replaced. Lots of fun! Muddy this time of year as expected, but that only offered a fun adventure. Many signs have fallen and are at risk of being hidden in the future as the grass grows, while other signs are broken altogether. If these were replaced to prevent hikers from becoming lost, I'd say it was perfect! Like any other trail, bring along bug repellent and plan to do a tick check after. I can't wait to go back and explore more trails.

This is a beautiful wilderness cross country trail. It's rooty and technical and some spots but quick and nimble in others. It's pretty well-maintained and labeled; I'm surprised that this area doesn't get more traffic from mountain bikers. It's easily worth the visit! One of the best mountain biking trails in the area.
