SRG's NorthWest Place retirement community in Portland, Oregon offers independent living options.

Whether you need to go to a doctors appointment, shopping, or have an event to attend, our community offers scheduled group transportation services that are provided to all residents.

All dining is made-to-order so residents can make any necessary adjustments for food preferences and allergies. We also have our FreshZest menu, which is a full plant-based menu for those residents who prefer a plant-based diet.

Yes. Generally, pets are welcome at SRG retirement communities. Please contact the community for specific information and questions.

NorthWest Place has a fully-equipped fitness center and heated swimming pool offering a wide variety of group classes including flexibility, circuit training, aqua-aerobics, and dance. All upcoming classes can be found on the community Daily Life page. In addition to fitness classes, all SRG communities offer a health and wellness program called ZEST. Our program goes beyond physical exercise by focusing on 3 fundamental areas: Mind, Body & Soul. All programs are created to bring a healthy, positive balance to each day and offer enriching experiences focusing on more than just physical activity, but also spiritual, social, and personal connections.

The safety and well-being of our community members, whether they are employees, residents, or guests, is our priority. In an effort to protect our residents, some who are among the most vulnerable population, NorthWest Place Portland is dedicated to taking ongoing precautionary measures. All team members, service providers, and private duty attendants are required to be fully vaccinated. We require everyone to wear a mask or face covering while in common areas indoors.
