Love to go here to get fruits and try different cultures ready hot food, people sing and play music very relaxing and good inviorment. My daughter loved it you can get dollar coins to use with ur foodstamp card and get double ur foodstamps worth for produce at the information tent . The blueberries and cherries and strawberry and raspberry and blackberry are expensive though but if u walk around u can find that some tents sell the same fruit for couple dollars less then others most are about 9.99$ for a pound of white cherries or a little blue pound of blueberries or strawberry is usually 5$ foe a square. Very yummy but u gotta be careful cause I got home and the top fruits were perfect but the bottom half the fruit rotted:( so check ur fruits box before buying.

Wonderful neighborhood farmers market with everything from fresh produce and local mushrooms to deep dish pizza. Pups can walk freely on designated paths in this urban park setting and you have access to bathrooms at the PSU campus building.

Bring lots of bags; you will need them. Between all the fresh vegetables, the meats, and the cheeses, it's worth the trip to Market Street.

Really enjoyed this market on my first visit to Portland. Produce is so fresh you can practically smell it from far away. Vendors are super friendly and really informative about their products. Just wished there was vendors with local hand craftsmanships, would have love to bring some back home to TX. Everyone is really friendly. Will be back for more goodies on my next visit.

Hi Anastasia, Our Shemanski Park Farmers Market runs through October 30 but there will also be a special Harvest Market on November 27.
Most vendors do accept cards. Public transport is recommended, but parking spots aren't too difficult to find, but you will need to pay for parking on street or parking structures.
Hi Janeen, several of our vendors do have online stores where they can ship out products. Do you know what vendor the pickled jalepenos were from?
Hi Britt, Briar Rose Creamery makes something like a cheese-based truffle. Is that what you are thinking of?
