I have tried to call the number posted but I get hung up on, is this place still open? Was hoping to secure a site for the 160th anniversary.

We lost our home on Monday then got eaten by bedbugs at the hotel we stayed at, we decided that we would rather camp in a tent with our 13yo chocolate lab than stay in a hotel. I am disabled, which limits me. The owners BILL & KAREN are the sweetest people we have met in a long time. We suggest everyone staying there.

We stayed overnight in the campsite sleeping in our car. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Clean restroom with hot showers. Great location close to Shiloh Battlefield. Had a campfire and beautiful shots of the night sky.

Even though it is close to the freeway, I am giving this campground 5 stars due to the gentleman who runs it , cleanliness, and pleasant atmosphere. Our main goal was to find a campsite where we could walk the civil war battlegrounds and this was an awesome spot. Our first night the guy who runs it showed up to introduce himself and offer help if we needed anything. The bathrooms and showers were clean and the battleground walk was great. No complaints and we will be going back again. Also our four dogs had a fun time :) for the history buffs- you'll love the museum down the road.
