I like this port and could see the potential. A few more fun shops with the market would do wonders. Some food trucks and maybe some more vendors all the way down the port. A lot of the vendors are the same from Fridays at Long Beach. Either way it was still a nice way to spend a Saturday morning.

Great host city for The Pacific NW Offshore sailing race. The town bigwigs all came out and made us feel welcome. The hospitality room was unbelievable featuring complimentary meals and adult beverages! It was also most thoughtful to provide a shuttle furnishing free rides to local restaurants and shopping. I hope ilwaco becomes the permanent host for future PNW offshore races.

Beautiful day out today. Took a nice walk along the port. Will be even better to come back during the season and after covid when everything is open again.

Fishing and crabbing are not permitted within the Port of Ilwaco marina. Thank you for inquiring. You can refer to the suggestions by Mr. House and Mr. Stepek.
The Tuna Club sells fresh tuna. It's on the board walk. Caught daily.
Salmon & bottom fishing is the main attraction. U have to travel pretty far obv by boat to find tuna in the summer. Typically 10-30 pounds tho
Only other hoists are at the fish companies
It has 2 port operated hoists
Willapa Bay, Port of Lwaco and Cape Disappointment State Park all offer land based crabbing.
