worst post office I have ever experienced, hands down. i’ve lived in many small and rural towns with subpar post offices and rude careless employees, but this place BY FAR takes the cake. every single time I come in (multiple times a week as I run an online business) they are unbelievably rude, condescending, and far from helpful. aside from this, they GAVE AWAY MY PACKAGE TO A COMPLETE STRANGER. I had been trying to figure out the whereabouts of a package my grandmother sent me for nearly a month, and I went ahead and checked the tracking online and it said it had been delivered and “picked up.” I have the only key to my P.o. box and I never got the package, and was not at the post office on the day it was supposedly picked up. I went in to ask them what was going on and the gal with short brown hair was rude, short, condescending, and dismissive. she basically told me that “someone” picked it up, I asked how someone would get something from my box without them checking ID, and she snappily told me “if someone has a yellow slip we don’t really check ID usually, we just give them the package.” what?? why do I even have a p.o. box if any stranger can just walk away with my packages without ID, or a key to my box? so unbelievable. i’ve never experienced such awful and incompetent service. the employees here will find any and every way to make your experience horrible, and apparently they are willing to go as far as stealing or giving away your packages if they don’t like you.

I don't know who these people are even talking about. If you come in with a bad attitude then you deserve a bad attitude back. They work hard to take care of everyone and this last year and a half hasn't been easy for anyone.

Living in the area for over 20 years, I can attest to the USPS crew doing an amazing job! Generally (As the below reviews show), most people only feel inclined if they had an issue that wasn't solved right away. Many many issues are related to the senders error but they claim its USPS fault. I have never had an issue with the post office in Stevenson, WA. Anything that did crop up, was solved immediately.. they follow the rule book to a T and instruct you how to fix things if you do mess up. Have been there every single day, 5 days a week for over 10 years.. not a thing wrong with the crew! They keep kicking rear and doing a fantastic job!

Without fail, every encounter is horrible. The women who work there go out of their way to make your experience horrible. They lie to your face and act like its such an inconvienece to do their job. You literally have to prepare for a fight when you walk in to get a package. The only good thing about that place is when Martin is working. When he is there it's always a very pleasant experience. If I could give it zero stars I would.
