Nice spot, lottsa parking. Well stocked c-store. Subway. Clean restroom. Has showers & laundry. Friendly folks work here

Lot is nice sized. The store was nice over all. I did run across a couple of less than friendly staff members. They do have a subway. My biggest complaint is the showers. The toilet was not flushed completely from the previous occupant. There is very little room in the showers. There is no place aside from the toilet to sit yourself or your belongings. There is the small area around the sink but not like other places though. Over all is not a bad place, just pay attention to the showers and don't expect a happy staff.

This was our first time stopping at a Road Ranger. We will definitely put it on our list of preferred places to stop. The bathrooms were clean, the coffee was hot and they had a lot of interesting choices for things to eat. They even had soapy water in their squeegees so that I could get the bugs off of my windshield.

According to the internet, there are three Road Ranger truck stops in Northwestern Illinois they're supposed to have the transponders also Jewel food stores have the I-PASS transponders.
