I've been going here for decades......still one of the best general nurseries in PDX metro. This nursery is centrally located on the near eastside of PDX. Portland Nursery has been here for decades at this same location. I always enjoy browsing the outdoor plant section, although they have a small indoor plant area as well in their main building. They have a general selection of shade tolerant and sun loving plants. Perennials and annuals. A few palm types Roses Japanese maples Some fruit trees Veggies Berries They also carry some pots, fountain features and a limited selection of aquatic plants Parking in the lot can be a challenge on weekends--overflow to streets and a small lot a block away. Prices are definitely on the spendy side but the quality is decent. They have a well staffed info desk to help out with questions. Recommended

Shopped here multiple times this spring for vegetable garden including for potting/amendment soils and fertilizer. Dog friendly if on leash( Mac our Corgi thanks Liz especially for her pets!) Good help: finding plants, suggestions, loading heavy items. Thank you! Had fun looking at all the great tree options: dogwoods, Japanese Maple, Blue Spruce etc.

Amazing selection of plants and related products. Free parking can fill up on spring weekends. Multiple cashier locations to speed checkout. Friendly helpful staff.

What a beautiful nursery! The plants are attractively & logically displayed & well identified. The grounds are immaculate, the staff are very helpful & pleasant. I LOVE garden nurseries. The are calming & healing. Portland Nursery (my 1st visit) is now tops on my list of calming, healing, & beautiful places. Thanks for a great 1st visit!

I doubt they take your plants due to disease issues. I am a garden fanatic and would take them all and find good homes for them.
Yes, even if we get a frost, peas are a cold weather crop and will grow during cold weather and will easily survive a frost ....also this Sunday frost is predicted to be last extreme frost of the 2021 spring...and historically April 15 is the last day of the spring frost (averaged). I use to plant my peas at the end of February (seed) but have been lazy last couple of years.
Yes. Personally I choose a one or two gallon container and plant them in it and let them take root for transplant later into the garden around late February or March. That way they have established a strong root system and guarantee a better survival rate. Other than that they're tremendously hardy and really don't care if they're planted in full sun or shade from my experience.
Not sure, sounds like something you should call the nursery about. If I had to guess, probably something to do with the April freeze, as it has affected lots of plants and trees this year.
Hi Rozanne! We're so sorry, we just saw notification of your recent question. We do have Queen Elizabeth at our Stark Street shop right now in #3 pots for $34.99
Hi Jane! We do have a few available at both locations right now, but we're hoping to see a lot more in the latter part of April.
I'd suggest calling the nursery direct. They are great about offering advice. (You've posted your question to Google and it may not be monitored by the business.)
Hi, Dianne! We do have Heuchera at Stark and, if you happen to be passing by our Division store, we have some there as well.
I think they're in the main building, they have EVERYTHING in there!!
Patricia, we just updated our gift card purchasing options, and you can see what they are by following the link below. Thank you for thinking of us! https://portlandnursery.com/resources/gift-cards
All answers on Google are via consumers, not the store. For answers as to what they carry, give them a call. They are always more than helpful.
You should call them. They also have a list of the fruit trees they sell on their website but it's seasonal.
Google answers are given by consumers, not employees. To get that answer, give Portland Nursery a call. 👍
Call them. All Google questions are answered by customers of Portland Nursery, not staff. Give them a call they are very helpful and knowledgeable.
Give them a call, they are incredibly helpful. The Google answers are by people that shop at Portland Nursery, not by PN themselves.
Not sure. If you call them, they are very helpful
Call them. They are awesome and will have the answers This part of Google isn't answered by the company, but by others who have shopped there.
It's a little late in the season for predatory bugs but never hurts to call and confirm.
Give them a call. I'm sure Portland Nursery would help.
They have bonsai, not sure about your specific type.
I would give them a call. The staff is great! Very knowledgeable.
Call the store.
Yes, they deliver but it depends on how far away you live. I think they charge $50 to $60... depending on volumn ordered and distance, of course.
Your best bet is to call them, their inventory changes.
Your best bet for questions like this is to call the nursery directly.
It's listed on the yearly events list available at https://portlandnursery.com/events/yearly-events/.
Your best bet is to actually call the nursery. This area is a bunch of Google users who are answering more general questions here.
Agreed with the above
Your best bet would be to call them to make sure they have it at one of their locations.
You might also be able to tweet it to them if you have a Twitter account.
Very popular pepper in Oregon. Pick up that phone and reach out!
Looks like they do based on the website. Search for Viburnum
These questions do not go to the business itself. They go to the goggle guides, who might be able to answer the odd question. For this question, you should contact the business itself.
You'd be better served by calling the nursery.
I'm pretty sure I've seen several types there, inside with other houseplants.
