We recently had a new heat pump installed by Sturm. We were able to receive service quickly even though it was still the winter season. Installers Canyon & Ezra arrived on time, were friendly, knowledgeable & thorough. (They even put their booties on when coming in the house without me asking!) I was in attendance throughout the installation & they answered all my questions without hesitation. We would definitely recommend Sturm, Canyon & Ezra! for any heating & AC needs.

We've worked with Sturm several times as we've been updating our house. They replaced our AC and furnace, thoroughly cleaned our ducts and most recently installed a gas line in our kitchen for a gas stove. They are super polite, on time and clean. The quality is top notch.

Called on a Monday afternoon to report problem with our gas furnace. Technician was out early Tuesday and had to disable the furnace due to potential for giving off dangerous gases. Called the sales rep for our area and he came out by 2pm that same day. Without any sales pressure he provided lots of options and prices. He answered all our questions and clearly stated the rationale for his answers. He talked about installation costs and long term costs for our options. He told us about rebates and Veteran’s discount. We listened carefully and made our best choice without pressure. On the following Monday two installers arrived early and installed a furnace an AC and a thermostat by 2pm, just hours before nighttime temps dropped into single digits! I appreciate the customer oriented service Sturm has provided us over the past 10 years. 2 days after the installation I have already recommended Sturm to 4 people who have said they need service. Last summer when my pool heater died near the end of the season they quickly repaired it so we could have a few more swims in the Fall. I recommend Sturm wholeheartedly!

Sturm Heating was professional from start to finish! My furnace stopped working during the freezing temperatures and they were able to get in to check it out and install a new system in just a few days. They were on time, efficient, and did an excellent job! They were also able to set me up with financing which made the much-needed furnace more financially feasible. Great work!

The main purpose of air conditioning is to cool a warm area. To do that, air conditioning units use a cooling agent called refrigerant that absorbs the heat from the air, using a fan to redistribute that cool air. Air conditioners usually aren't made to filter out smoke – they're more suited to filtering dust and pollen – but they may still help to make the air better than it would otherwise be. If the temperature inside the home is OK just run the blower to help circulate the air. The filter will need to be changed once the outside smoke has gone. Some bathrooms may have a stronger smoke smell due to the vents. Close doors in smokier smelling rooms, place towels or rugs to block any air that can creep in from outside doors. Make sure all windows are shut tight.
