Great to deal with and talk about knives. I brought in a Spyderco, Kershaw and a CKRT and he worked on them right on the spot. I enjoyed seeing his method of sharpening them. Quite fascinating. Price was more than reasonable. Would definitely come back again if I needed other blades sharpened.

Awesome place. Guy was very cool, and extremely nice. He is very skilled and knowledgeable when it comes to knives all around, especially when it comes to sharpening them. Did a knife sharpening class with him and it was very thorough and detailed, and I enjoyed it alot. Showed me many ways on how to sharpen a knife. Highly recommend this place whether it be for getting your knives serviced or you want to learn how to sharpen them!

Lyle is more than just a country boy from Montana who makes and sharpens knives. He's a true craftsman who studies and understands steel down to the molecular structure. He has developed methods of knife making that put him in a class of his own and he continues to improve his art. Don't let his quiet demeanour and simple shop fool you, this man knows knives like few others. Watch him work if you get the chance, and better yet take a class from him if he still offers it

If you want the best, most knowledgeable gentleman regarding anything that has a sharp or dull edge, look no further! For you have found him! If you're in need of getting anything sharpened, repaired, or even custom made Lyle is hands down the first professional you can trust with getting the job done right. With results exceeding even the highest standards or expectations. Just keep in mind that larger jobs of multiple knives might require you to leave them over night for him to complete :)

I'm not a follower of such stuff.
I can however you can purchase a better knife for Less money at Misen. I have to charge $90.00 for doing that. Misen uses better steel and is less money than Wustof
Yes I do sharpen scissors, including fabric shears, hair shears, and kitchen shears.
