I buy meat from here on a regular basis. I'm usually pretty happy with the cuts and prices. And the store staff is usually friendly and helpful. However my opinion changed recently and I'm not sure I will be going back. On 12/29 I bought a couple filet mignon and a prime rib as a treat to celebrate the holiday. one was covered in their seasoning and I thought I would try that and then I got a regular unseasoned pack. I never look at the dates when I buy from there because I've never had any issues. Big mistake, they sold me a steak (the seasoned one) that was 6 days old at the time of purchase. Meat stays fresh for 3-5 days. When I went to cook it two days later it had a very sour smell and was obviously not edible. I called and left a message with my number for them to call me back, expecting that they may offer to exchange it for a similar priced cut but they never called back. I then looked at the prime rib I got (fortunately I stuck that in the freezer) and that was a four days old when they sold it to me. For as much as I paid for the three small packages of meat ($60), I'd expect them to at least all be edible.

Hi Judy! They are correct, we do not have FRESH tuna. We have wild caught ahi tuna steaks that do come frozen.

I believe it's between $3.99lb-$4.29lb. That's whole Cryovac out the door. They run on average 16lbs. I have seen them 11lbs as well as 24lbs.
