Not a fan. Both my partner and I became sick after our meals. Beans in the rice with slop poured on top, one plain taste. If you're in town and want good Mexican there's one literally around the corner near the am/pm that is amazing.

Visited with my mom and sister after the funeral home so, nothing was great for these couple of days, but, under the circumstances... The waiter was very friendly, service prompt and food excellent. I had #14 Chile rellenos and I ate every bite. I would have liked it better had a few seeds been left in for some heat, but the flavor was exceptional

On our way back from Olympic National park, we went to this restaurant. A very traditional Mexican restaurant in the middle of the city.we ordered fish tacos, enchiladas and taco combination and enchiladas and chalupa combination and tropical cocktail. Everything tasted very good. Cocktail could have been better. Ambience was good.

They do have gift certificates, yes, however be careful if purchasing. I purchased a $50 gift certificate recently in store and they added a 17% extra charge on top of it. When I called them, they told me it was a 'bank charge' that would fall off, however the bank confirmed this was a lie. I have a pending fraud dispute with my bank as Mazatlan is claiming no responsibility for their fraud.
As far as tacos I have neve ordered them from there but I do order other dishes that require tortillas, they have flour or corn.
When I was there last it was take out orders only, all employees and customers wore masks, touch less menus available via your mobile device, hand sanitizer available when you went to pick up and pay for your order, everyone maintained safe social distances, and still a clean as always restaurant. I will not hesitate to continue to support this establishment even during the covid restrictions. Great people and food always.
