The Good: Bed was comfortable, room was clean, pool was clean, grounds were well taken care of. This place is a bit dated but that's what you expect from a mountain resort. The Bad: Bighorn Bistro turned us away at 8:30 saying their kitchen shuts down at 8:15. That was ridiculous. It is summer, the sun is still up at 8:30 and I get turned away for dinner... The staff wasn't very nice about it either. We ended up having to walk a mile into town to find decent food. Happy anniversary to us... One if the front desk gals (in uniform) was at the indoor hot tub talking with a couple of young gentlemen (I assume were other staffers on their day off) for the better part of an hour. It made it awkward and not relaxing.

Got there late for a conference. My rep had neglected to book me a room so they were kind enough to "find" room for a sick, weary traveler. Rooms are basic, buy nice enough. They don't do any room service which is unfortunate, but the downstairs restaurant and bar is good...and Cloe (sorry forgot hot to spell your name) was attentive and sweet as puddin' at the bar. Overall, good. Would recommend.

From the moment you walk into the Keystone Lodge and Spa the staff makes you feel right at home. Over the last few years we tried several different places to stay and once we found the Lodge and Spa we have not stayed anywhere else. There is no reason to, everything you need is at the Lodge. I have stayed here many times and it is awesome. We usually ski A Basin and its super convenient! The pool and spa are great, the restaurant and bar are fun and have good food. On my last visit last week, a friend had a serious accident at A Basin skiing. He had too have emergency surgery in Frisco, and the staff here accommodated him above and beyond any expectation. They were so kind and thoughtful and ot made a big impression on our group of skiers. Thanks! And the beds are awesome.
