Our new cat gave birth unexpectedly. One infant died. The other one kept crying because they were dragging a placenta with the cord still attached. I cleaned up the corpse and cut the other one's cord, not even knowing if I were doing it properly. I don't drive. I guess we should have called first, but we wanted to deal with our *emergency* as quickly as possible. Blue Pearl turned us away. There was no line outside. The waiting room had one or two people with their pets in it. The counter staff turned us away. For all I knew, the cord cutting site was infected. I'm a new cat owner and I wanted to make sure our babies and their mom weren't in danger. Blue Pearl turned us away because "if she got hit by a car or something, that would be an emergency." If my sibling hadn't been with me to drive, I don't know what I would have done. Ride the bus with a traumatized kitty and her two frail newborns I guess. Will not be back here and will warn my friends about it, and the unhelpful and dismissive counter person we dealt with.

We unfortunately had to bring our dog, Oliver into blue Pearl Saturday night to be put to sleep. He was very sick, we had brought him in Thursday and earlier in the day Saturday and received exceptional care but our dog declined quickly Saturday and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put him to sleep. I just want to say that besides the wonderful care our dog received I was also so thankful for the kindness and compassion we received from all the staff on duty Saturday night. The last thing anyone wants to do is make the choice to say goodbye to your baby and we found ourselves having to make that decision at midnight on a Saturday. The doctor on duty was so kind to us. The assistants that were also working were especially wonderful. I would like to say a special thank you to the nurse (if that’s what the position is called) that took care of our Oliver that day. I’m sorry I didn’t get your name (she had wonderfully colorful hair) you were so sweet to us. This was the worst moment of our lives and you made me feel at peace. Your kindness and compassion even for just a short time meant so much to me and my husband. Thank you to everyone at Blue Pearl our Oliver was lucky to not only be with us when passing but surrounded by a wonderful veterinary team.

We took our 7 year old male cat named Dutch for a urethral obstruction. The staff and the Dr. were very helpful and compassionate. I do not know what we wouldve done without them. I strongly recommend this place. Thank you so much for helping our fur baby. We are forever greatful.

My pet did not have the best outcome because of the severity of his cancer however the staff here did an amazing job, they are loving and caring to their clients and the animals in their care. They have an amazing oncology Dr. Megan Breit and team, they were honest and worked diligently to call and get my test results. The staff will treat your pets like they were their own, they were all very kind. I was provided all the pricing for each treatment option up-front. I received a thorough explanation of the medications and potential treatments and their effectiveness. They're emergency department was very busy but they handled their check-in process with organization, although I did wait a long time, I understand that they are all doing the best they can to care for the pets and keep the human patients safe from covid with the waiting in your car process.

You'll have to call the hospital. This question doesn't go to them.
Definitely call and ask. It can vary if you have pet insurance or a health plan, too.
Call Regional Animal Services of King County, or get one of the other rescues to take him. Please.
Actually, they do have an exotic specialists. Also please don't rely on Google Maps for answers about important questions like the care of your animals. Please just call the place.
The great drs at BluePearl can stablize your exotic, but do not treat exotics. Try Dr Onoroti, in Des Moines. They are bird specialists.
If your fire babies came with RC Urinary from the shelter, then you could get a prescription for it from them since the Director is a vet. Then but it at Petco or online.
