I picked the Potbelly’s on Randall Rd in South Elgin to meet a friend for lunch that I haven’t seen in a while. The experience turned into the worst dining experience ever. If I could give zero stars I would. Just as we arrived, a delivered person propped the back door open to make a delivery to the restaurant. This was at 11:45 am on Friday January 7, 2022 at which time the outside air temperature was 8 degrees and there was a strong west wind blowing in the door. Within minutes my legs, feet, and hands were numb. After enduring this for about 25 minutes, we had to leave. The door was never closed during that entire 25 minute period. Also, I saw the delivery person pass through the restaurant with no mask. He was the only person besides the people eating that was not wearing a mask. I will not return to this Potbelly.

Do Not get any salad from here. The spinach and romaine lettuce was black and moldy. I had to throw out the whole salad it wasn't even editable.

I go to Potbelly occasionally. The food is always pretty good. This visit was excellent. The girls that prepared the sandwiches did an excellent job. Lots of ingredients and done well. I look forward to my next visit. Keep up the great work.

Clean sandwich franchise that serves good food. Always friendly and clean. Kids will get a big sandwich and eat half and bring the other half to school. Shakes are pretty good. Brownie cookies are our favorite here. This is across from Panda in front of Best Buy. Daughter testimonial: Their food is good and the place is clean.
