What a great way to see the bay! The staff is super friendly which makes the whole process easy. Instructions are clear, and very important to listen to for your own safety because these boats are fast! Bring sunglasses because the wind in your face at full throttle is intense. The boats have planning hulls and once they are up you skin the tops of the waves at 30mph. The only draw back is that you can only go as fast as the person in front of you while on the guided tour. All in all this was one of the best events of my week long visit to San Diego, I strongly recommend trying it out.

This was an incredibly fun activity to introduce us to San Diego. The guides were fun (and funny), ensuring we had a good time while taking the time to keep us safe. I was nervous to drive a boat but it was easy! I would highly recommend this, especially if you bought the Go City pass like I did.

A very fun experience to do while visiting San Diego. The instructor was very kind and knowledgeable about boats and San Diego Bay with all it's sites. Even if you live in San Diego, I would still recommend doing this if you haven't. A great experience at a reasonable price!

This was such a thrilling experience! You get a chance to switch partners giving both individuals a chance to try it out! It’s such a fun way to explore the Marina! They show you around a few spots! Loved this experience, a must do while you’re in San Diego!

Yes, you will be driving your own speed boat and a tour guide will be leading you around the harbor!
Hi Grace! We do allow small dogs on our morning tours when the water is calmer. If it's a rough day on the bay then we wouldn't be able to allow them. We also do require our furry friends to wear a life jacket. Thank you and hope to see you soon!
Very rare in the bay but they do come in occasionally. Also you will go right past the training center for the navy dolphins etc. They often being them into the harbor for training. Ask you guide to point them out...
