The highlight of our hotel stay was the pool. I particularly liked that there was a separate pool for smaller children. The free breakfast was average, it had a decent amount of food choices. Our room was clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

First, be warned ... this room SMELLS HEAVILY OF CHLORINE (and I imagine all of the pool facing rooms do as well)!!! We stayed in what was referred to as "2 King Beds, 2 Bedroom Suite" though the room does not have two private bedrooms as the name suggests. You enter the room directly into the first "bedroom" (which does have a king bed) and then you walk through that "bedroom" to the living room. The other bedroom is a true separate bedroom behind french doors with curtains over the glass so it is private. The room does have two separate full baths (one off the living room with a tub and shower combo) and another full bath attached to the private bedroom (this has just a shower but does have two shower heads). There is also a jacuzzi/whirlpool tub inside the private bedroom (though the cleanliness is debatable). The living room area has a love seat, two arm chairs, and a coffee table jammed in very tight - not an area that is of much use to "hang out" (not sure if it had a pullout couch, we didn't look, but if it did, that would allow more sleeping area for a large family). From what I understand there is only 1 of these room types in the entire hotel ("2 King Beds, 2 Bedrooms"). This room does not have an exterior window, as it overlooks the pool and has a small patio (it's on the 2nd floor). The patio made it easy to look outside and see if the pool was packed. Especially on the weekends, the pool deck can be especially loud when crowded so all that noise carries into the room. The room smells terrible - the smell of chlorine is overpowering. The room is also VERY dark - not enough lamps/lights at all. The pool is enclosed on three sides by rooms. From what I can see, I'd estimate about half of the rooms in the hotel are "pool facing" which I imagine have the same strong odor. This alone discourages me from staying in the hotel again. First floor rooms that are pool facing have a walk-out door directly onto the pool deck. Interesting concept but not sure what safety mechanisms are in place in order to ensure young children aren't able to open that door and access the pool. In our room, the lock on the door to the patio was very easy for a young child to open which would have been very concerning to me if I had been travelling with a little one, so I sure hope the rooms on the first floor out to the pool deck had something much more substantial. Overall the hotel is dated but not much different than other Comfort Suites I've stayed at. The pool and hot tub were great perks (and generally not too crowded). The hot breakfast did not look appetizing but there were also cereals, yogurt, oatmeal, etc... There were random fees added to the bill for "fitness center charge" and "safe charge" and when we questioned them, they were refunded. Overall, my teen enjoyed having her own king bed and bathroom but I just don't think I could do this again strictly because of the smell. For $250/night, it would have been better spent on 2 small rooms at a higher end hotel.

Positive: Our room was very clean and FULLY stocked. Often times rooms will have one or two towels, same with cups/coffee. Our room had more then enough. Whirlpool was amazing. Staff was very helpful and nice. Another big plus, the pool is open! Loved our stay! Negative: The one and only thing wrong with our stay was the pool was quite cold.

I haven't actually stayed there yet but I am flying out of the airport in a week and was looking high and low for a decent rate. I came across this hotel and Wendy at the front desk was an absolute joy to speak with. She explained the process to me clearly and set up my shuttle service for when I arrive after having my book and call her right back to make sure everything was correct and smooth sailing for me! Thank you Wendy!!!!!

They do not except anyone who lives within a 30 mile radius due to so many problems with locals having parties, causing damage to property, police being called to property on numerous occasions, etc. They tell me their policy whenever I call to book. I personally prefer staying there since they changed this policy, the pool is not overcrowded due to unregistered guests and there is not a bunch of people running up and down the halls at all hours of the night.
