I went with my family to eat at the fairway as it has a great review rating. We got there at 11am. As soon as we sat down we were immediately told by a waitress (an older lady) that they weren't serving breakfast anymore and it would be a half hour before they started doing lunch. Then she proceeded to tell us where else we could go. I've never been run off like that. That lady did not want us in her restaurant. Im not sure what about us she disliked so much! Never got to actually eat anything.

These folks have been doing it right since we first met them back in the 90's. Really good food at a basic price. I don't know what brought you to Lynden, but make sure you catch a meal at the Fairway Center Cafe.

Do not,do not I repeat DO NOT GO HERE!!,,if you are on a diet. I love this place. If I am really hungry. If I have no other plans for the day,except to put on loose sweats and sit on my recliner. Excellent food,epic proportions, kind and attentive staff. I get the chicken fried steak,wife gets Monte Cristo,both very satisfying. Down side,we had planned to do chores after. Didnt,couldn't, we were both dealing with a food baby belly.

Good place for lunch, what I had. I couldn't settle in anything and ended up with 1/2 Super Nochos order. It was plenty for lunch for one guy. The hamburger is nicely seasoned, not heavy. It was cooked just right. I plan to stop in again when in Lynden.
