What a wonderful surprise that my Daughter and (future Son in Law) brought home 2 pizzas for dinner, BTW we live 98 miles from Athens, Ohio restaurant. This was our first Avalanche Pizza we ever had, and we are serious pizza connoisseurs. We found that this is the best pizza we ever had and we have had pizza from hundreds of Pizzerias over a combined 172 years. Recommend highly!

I’ve been going to Avalanche Pizza for 14 years and they absolutely the best pizza I’ve ever had. I don’t live in Athens anymore, but anytime I come back to visit I have to get a pizza from Avalanche. The basil pesto and jalapeño dipping sauces are also fantastic. Anytime pizza comes up in conversation I talk about Avalanche and how much I miss being able to order from there anytime. Glad to see that they are still going strong and surprised (but pleased) they opened up the Slice House.

This is the best pizza I’ve ever had. The crust is delicious, there is just enough delicious sauce, and the toppings are sublime. I love the rainbow veggie and the cheese. Since we live farther away it is convenient to get the take and bake pizzas and bake them at home. Highly recommend this pizza!

Get the soylent green!! Oh my goodness, never have broccoli and spinach been in such harmony! My husband got pepperoni and cheese... still good but wow, the green!!
