We tried this place for the first time today after an employee recommended it while we were shopping. They had no tables available (first sign that it was good!) But were able to seat us at the bar right away. Sarah (Sara?) was the bartender and she was absolutely fabulous! When I mentioned that we just moved from Utah and that I had not yet had southern food, she went above and beyond to show me the southern experience. The food and drinks were fabulous, the atmosphere fun and the customer service exemplary. We will be back and I think we just found our favorite place!

More like 3.5. the Hash was exquisite. Of the meats we had it had the most flavor. We had several sides: the green beans and hush puppies were amazing. The 3 star is primarily because all the other meats we had, had 0 flavor other than smoke. I'm big on BBQ meat having it's own flavor, without the sauce. These required it to be tasty. The other sides we had were either basic or needed salt and pepper. Overall not bad, but I'm in no rush to do their BBQ again. I do want to try their Cajun offerings tho.

Delicious filet, fried cabbage and crispy green beans. Our server was great! Highly recommend. Other plates in our group looked delicious too!

Awesome. Great atmosphere. Clean. Waitress friendly and attentive. Very different items than most BBQ places, which is pleasant. Original items, I can't wait to try them all. Mule in a Hurricane ($8) was superb. Very hot humid day and this was a nice refreshing mixed drink to close out the day. Steamed mussels (price ?) were excellent. Seasoned perfectly. I ordered fried oyster basket with house cut fries (price based on market price of day $18 this time I believe) Husband got 1 meat sampler platter (pulled pork) slaw and house cut fries (I think $14) 24 yr old son got Cajun Burger cooked medium and house cut fries. (Price ?) 3 Mules In a Hurricane and 1 stout and 3 meals- total bill $84 before our tip We were very pleased with entire dining experience. Food was excellent. Fresh and hot. Service was really good. Staff very pleasant. We shall return
