Stayed here for my birthday (April 1-3) and was absolutely impressed. The room was very cute, clean and had a nice view; staff was very friendly and accommodating and the price for our stay, fit our budget! Not far from Asheville at all (which is where we spent most of our days) and we are planning to stay again next time we’re in the area.

Had a fantastic stay at the Saluda Mountain Lodge this past weekend! We booked the standard double room - the bed/linens were fresh and comfy and the room was in great condition. I’d still recommend the “Deluxe Double” if it’s available - those have a direct door to access to the shared back patio with an EPIC view. We enjoyed watching the sunset, stargazing, and seeing a lightening storm way off in the distance. Staff were kind and friendly and the booking, check-in, and check-out experience was quite simple. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Saluda Mountain Lodge. It is an old fashioned motor lodge layout but the rooms are clean and the bed and linens were very comfortable and new seeming. We felt silly that we didn’t discover the drop dead gorgeous view until about an hour after arriving (thankfully before sunset). Go through the “lobby” type area in the center of the hotel to take in one of the most gorgeous mountain vistas I have ever seen. We enjoyed playing cornhole in this nice little backyard area and taking in the beauty. We were also close to downtown Saluda (5 min drive) and loved our dinner at Green River BBQ!
