The atmosphere is nice, but the food was not good. My pizza was not cooked through, the onions were raw, the cheese was barely melted. It was Luke warm at best. My wife did not like her pasta dish. She stated it was a very poorly made dish. My grandson had a cheese pizza, he liked it. My son and daughter in law enjoyed what they had. Way over priced for the quality of food they are serving. Very disappointed. When I spend 157.00 plus on dinner, I expect the food to be delicious and cooked properly. Our server was very overwhelmed. That’s all I will say about that.

Excellent food, dandy drink menu, and stellar service--plus live music. We loved the charcuterie board, the personal pizzas were tasty, and my mimosa sour beer was delicious.. I could not be more impressed with this place. Its only negative is it is located two hours from my house.

We have been gluten free for 10 years for health reasons, so we always appreciate menus which are clearly marked. What a wonderful treat to go to a quality restaurant with several options. We both had a pizza with gluten free crust - literally the BEST gluten free pizza crust I have ever eaten. Toppings were a little skimpy but still was filling. Homemade bean soup was excellent. Several sandwich choices (gluten free bun available) and some different appetizer choices will bring us back for another sampling.

PURPLE POWER! We were blown away by the flavors. Each daily special dish had a great aioli or sauce to compliment it. The fish was crispy and stayed that way on top of the grits. Another dish, the turkey avocado melt was also outstanding. We were the last guests of the day this past Sunday and we had an excellent experience. Also, our server was awesome! Great Job Purple Onion!
