This is a beautiful park. Good play area for kids, soccer fields, nice trails, bbq grills and tables. Well maintained we will be back.

I really like this park but the play area has no shade at all. It will be too hot for children to play on in summer. The thing I like is that there are no big kids running all over the little ones like there are at Cherry Park. My almost 3 yr old grandson loves it. I am just sad for him that we will have to find another place to go in another month or so.

And why is this question, after 2 weeks, still not have anyone who will comment on it? 😜 Does anyone remember riding near that area and gagging from the awful smell?

They have a pavilion there. If you want to have like a party you have to get permission and set a date ahead of your event. And it's free. You can ask when you set your event to make sure.
Check with Discoveries, they have a YDP (Youth Development Program), and and if your kid is seriously good and interested he can try out for their DSC Program (Discoveries).
Not on the soccer fields but they do have a walking trail around the soccer fields that you can walk your dog.
They have turf and grass fields.
