Very helpful, they got me in to low barrier dorm style living the same day. It is okay to be under the influence of substance, just be good. I lined up at the main office on Irving street in PDX. Hot showers, free food and laundry. Great people live here. I have not had any theft problems either.

Definitely an interesting looking homeless shelter. The staff seem friendly and so far haven't had any beef with anyone staying here. The area can't get a bit tricky to get around if you don't have a car or a bike.

Gosh dang man I can't say enough great praise for this place!! It honestly brings a tear to my eyes!! And so I got off of the streets on October. The day I got off of the streets and into a shelter, I got a shower and a laundry service. And I got a nice nites sleep!! So I kinda love this place.

Hey Greg! In order to get on the waiting list to here or any other transition projects shelter, you need to go to our resource center! They are located at 650 nw Irving st. It's right across from the greyhound bus station and union station. They are open 7 days a week 8am-4pm.
You can have out I think 5 nights monthly. You go over that and you get booted out for one night.
You have to go to the resource center at 650 NW Irving. I recommend getting there at 10. They open beds up at 12.
Yes if you live there
A person can stay there I believe as needed. You will get a casemanager, do intake, and go from there on specifics. It is about 10 min walking from greyhound
There are spots out front but I wouldn't go so far as safe and not guaranteed to be available.

Yea it's a homeless shelter. To get into it you have to go to TPI and see of there are any openings.
You should go by there and talk with them directly. I don't believe they take kids at this specific shelter but one of the staff should be able to help you.
The River District Navigation Center is a referral-only shelter. Generally, referrals are made by case managers, medical professionals, and police. Their website has a list of frequently asked questions. The website is: https://www.tprojects.org/help/FAQ%20River%20District%20Navigation%20Center%20August%202019.pdf. Central City Old Town Clinic can help you get medications. They have walk-in hours on weekdays. Just go in at any time. Their address is 727 W Burnside Street. Central City also has a great program called BEST. The staff can help you apply for social security. The process to get social security benefits is much faster than if you did it on your own. Ask a staff person at Old Town Clinic. They can connect you with the program.
