A quite typical county fair. Not run too professionally nor with much polish. On the last day of the fair they were running over an hour behind with their grandstand events and made no effort to get back towards schedule. The seating in the grandstand was made horribly bad by persons reserving and holding entire rows (even though there is a “no hold” policy). Four people were hold a block of two entire rows! The Pig-n-Ford race was an interesting local families only event that seemingly had the ten original and only allowed racing families occupying the entire grandstand. The MC droned on and on about them. The fair’s final event is a demolition derby that probably started 2 hours late (we left before it even started setting up). I’ve been to few different county fairs around the country. They’re all run differently and most can use some updating. This was no exception and is a suggestion. For a dairy county they can do much better.

4-H did a great job. This was my first time at the Tillamook fair. It was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but very enjoyable. Food was great and the people were very friendly. I just moved here. I am so looking forward to next year.

Actually you can pay for a parking pass and there is an area for RV's. It is usually 1st. come. This has been this way in the past. There are no hookups or dump stations at the fairgrounds.

Yes you can still skate
Thompson Square, Molly Hatchet and Frankie Ballard. Starting in order Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Courtyard stage daily performances by musicians throughout the day and bands from 6-8pm
Yesterday was Senior Day. Today it's the usual $10, which includes everything, including concert(s)
The fair is Aug. 8th through the 11th 2018. The pig and ford race is each day at 5:30 pm.
