Staff are always nice and helpful in finding your way to the snowshoe routes. Trails are decently marked but be ready to look for ribbons in the trees when you come to any intersections. Overall, a great place to snowshoe!

Nice groomed trails and a nice network of snowshoeing trails. Not very scenic though given that you are underneath massive power lines. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and the place was deserted. Be sure to park outside the gate, as they lock it up before dark.

The Stevens pass Nordic center is a much quieter place than the ski resort. This is the base for cross country skiing and snow shoeing with multiple groomed and snowshoe trails. Make sure to check Nordic center conditions as the snow pack should be think enough to allow snowshoeing. Would definitely recommend reaching there by 10 am as the parking lot does get crowded with a lot of folks using this as an overflow lot for the main ski areas (there are shuttles that run between the main resort and the Nordic center). The cafeteria serves hot coffee, hot chocolate and other snacks but it's best if you pack something light and some water.

This was my first snowshoeing adventure and I could not have had a better time. We went over MLK weekend and barely beat the crowds by arriving just after 9 in the morning. We rented gear and started hiking. I can't wait to go back!
