I recently found a pistol I was searching for at j and b firearms, I called spoke with James, after a couple calls we put a deal together, James was very upfront and fair, and I should mention this was an internet purchase and I'm probably 2300 miles away, so with shipping cost I felt it was fair for both. Jake, James and everyone else who works here is extremely kind, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I have been to a plethora of different gun stores but I will only be going to J&B in the future. They are so friendly and don’t make you feel bad or gatekeep you if you don’t know very much about firearms. I couldn’t recommend these guys more. Any firearm needs you have, go to J&B!! I couldn’t recommend them more.

When I bought my first firearm (and handgun) 4 years ago, I went to J&B in order to browse around. I was nervous at the time like any new firearm owner was but back then, they really helped me with the choices and differences between them. Still have the gun to this day. Recent news though, I asked of them to help me with consignment of two of my firearms. The process and convenience couldn't be more apparent nor easier. You talk about appropriate selling prices, sign some documents, and get a call that a check is ready for you. They also have a great sense of humor. On display are some large rocks that people have thrown through their storefront windows before. I can honestly say that my firearms were in good hands since no one has been able to steal them while in J&B's hands.

Hi Mike, we can always consider taking in a firearm on trade but we always like to see it in person and inspect it at the shop before making any offer. Depending on our current inventory and used gun stock it might be worth calling ahead to see if the gun(s) you might wanting to trade would fit our current inventory.

Hi Chris, Our transfer fee is $35.00 for one firearm, additional firearms on the same background check are only $5.00 (limit 5 guns on one transfer). OSP also charges $10.00 for the background check. Please make sure both parties have a valid Oregon driver's license with a current address on it before coming in. For long guns we can also accept an out of state drivers license provided the address is still current and the long gun is legal in that state. Thank you, - J&B
