Excellent hotel, very friendly and courteous staff, very clean rooms, quiet, and a full self-serve breakfast in the morning! You certainly cannot beat that! The only downside is the hotel does not have an on-site restaurant/bar/lounge, which means you need to drive to locate a restaurant. This a great spot, right off I-95 and is convenient to shopping, etc.

I work in hotels -specifically Marriott, I am picky about them… Hampton as a brand is always my go to… Hilton has superior limited service properties compared to Marriott, by far. I worked at a Westin for years and this hotels rooms, amenities and service surpass that full service ‘4 star hotel.’ We stopped in halfway from Maryland to Georgia, and this is now where we will stop on our trips to visit ‘back home.’ Highly recommend.

While the entry to hotel was very nice, and the breakfast was excellent, the rooms smelled of dog. We actually had two rooms - one for my husband and I, and one for my son, his wife, and their family. Upon entering our initial rooms, we were all taken aback by the strong smell of dog. The room looked a bit disheveled, as though someone had just thrown the bulky/dated comforter on the bed and did not straighten it.... or rather, someone sat on the bed after it had been made. I immediately a called the front desk and was informed by the clerk that she would meet us on the second floor and bring us new room keys as soon as she could find something. Upon getting our new rooms keys (after we were all just hanging out in the hall on the second floor at 8:30 pm), we could all smell dog again upon entering our second set of rooms on the third floor. By this time, we learned that the hotel was "pet friendly" and did not designate pet only rooms.... so trying to find a room that had not had an animal in it wasn't going to happen. I have very strong allergies to dogs and so this was a problem. Also, the sheets on the bed looked disheveled and as though someone had slept in them.... obviously the bedmaker needs some lessons. The sheets looked dingy and old and the pillow smelled. At an attempt to create a new updated vibe, there was a sliding barn door for the bathroom without a lock. If Hampton Inn and Suites has now lowered their standards to creating a dog friendly environment, not considering it's patrons who choose to be free of pets, this will be the last stay I will make there.

The hotel room was really nice and updated!! Very clean and spacious, no complaints there. They were accommodating with us needing a pack n play for our child to sleep in. My only criticism is how clearly we could hear other people. I could hear the conversations word for word in the hallway all night and I could hear when the people above us would walk around and use their bathroom. Other than that, an excellent hotel
