I really appreciate this cozy library and the incredibly helpful people who work there. My kiddos and I love to go in and find a good weekend read. The energy is peaceful and calm, and helps us slow down and be grateful for the little things…like good books!

I needed to print and fax paperwork and the gentleman who helped me was amazing.

Very convenient ballot dropoff. In general, a quite comfortable place to read, work, or upload/download.

usually when i give reviews i try to be as detailed as possible. so new comers and regulars alike can either picture how well the place is before coming their first time, or for those like me who visit every now and then to seeif it has changed either for the better or the worst. i honestly have been here as often as when i lived out and troutdale. I’d say the place is interesting. multnomah libraries seem to be open with a lot of ideas and cultures. this library is no different. they host different clubs and cool events for people of all ages. it is close to Reynolds high school and not far from mount hood community college. which is essential if you want a place to study. the place is generally quiet as well. at times there may be a loud occurance. but the staff are usually pretty good at dealing with that. just like most, if not all libraries, it has computers if you need to use them. i think its 2 1-hour sessions you can be on. however they have chromebooks to use which is a seperate time limit. this is nice for high schoolers and college students as it aids them in things to go with computer related work. such as doing research online, to having good wifi service (login required) to even just typing up something using online apps like microsoft word online. not a computer person? well there’s books to look around for. and if you cant find what you are looking for then it is much possible to place holds on things. they even have a public restroom and water faucet. which in my personal opinion is a plus. because a lot of places nowadays dont let people use their restrooms. now as far as the area itself, i think it is quite convient. plenty of places to get food such as subway, mcdonalds, and god father’s pizza for some food if you get hungry later on in the day. shopping for something else? theres places like walmart and gamestop down the hill from mcdonalds going down 238th ave. and theres a fred myers with its own strip mall going towards portland on glisan. there is also a lot of trees and fun places to hang out. the only concern is the homeless people that live close by. not trying to judge anyone but there has been a couple occurances of people being attacked. one of my neighbors included. but other than that, i think it is a great place.

Hi Geraldine, According to the OverDrive help site, you should be able to download Libby onto the Nook directly and borrow books that way: More information here: https://help.overdrive.com/en-us/9989.html
Yes, you can drop off your ballot at any of the Multnomah County Libraries, including the Troutdale branch.
You can check the website www.multcolib.org and search for the title or author.

Pretty sure they are I've seen them in there before
