THAT'S ITALIAN! Pizzeli's is one of the best (if not the best) Italian restaurant on the Grand Strand. Having said that, I need to get my gripe out of the way right up front. During the height of COVID, Pizzeli's took a very irresponsible attitude to safety precautions and mask-wearing. Because of this, we did not eat here for about two years. Their lack of concern for the health and well-being of their staff and customers was offensive. Now that we are fully vaccinated and boosted, we no longer worry about COVID; therefore this is no longer an issue. PIZZA - The heart and soul of any Italian restaurant in America - Definitely the heart and soul of Pizzeli's. A good pizza starts with a good crust, and Pizzeli's pizza crust is outstanding - enough body to stand up to a mound of toppings, yet tender and crusty - and baked too perfection with just enough of those little burnt areas on the bottom to yell out "Brick Oven." The sauce is tangy but not bitter, and the toppings are fresh and generous. PASTA - Spaghetti (that classic Italian favorite) is one of my favorites at Pizzeli's - especially with a big, tender meatball. We also like the Linguini with mussels and the Fettuccini with marinara sauce. And don't forget the Ravioli and Lasagna - large, tender and tasty servings. OTHER DISHES - The Eggplant Parm and the Hot Italian Sausage & Peppers are spot on. Pizzeli's also offers delicious soups and fresh hot garlic bread. ATMOSPHERE - Frankly, the dining room itself is much too crowded for my liking; but the the bar is very comfortable. If you can get a seat at the bar, you will be rewarded with efficient service and a friendly communal dining experience. NOTE: Like so many restaurants these days, Pizzeli's does charge a fee if you pay with a credit card.

I, almost, hate to say it, because they are so busy. Whether dining in, or taking out, the food quality is always on point, Kudos to the kitchen staff for that. It's always a fun, easy going place. Credit to the entire staff. Nicole, who is, almost, the nearest thing to perpetual motion, I've ever seen is amazing. She could not pull that off without all the rest on a mission to make your experience a great one. Bang for my buck, couldn't be better. I Love going somewhere and feeling like family. They are all to be commended.

This place came highly recommended from our neighbors and it did not disappoint. The wings I ordered came back extra crispy with teriyaki sauce and I liked my fingers from start to finish. The Large extra thin and crunchy pizza with pepperoni and sausage was absolutely what my wife and I were hoping for from this restaurant! We will return to sample the menu soon.

Visiting from out of town and I heard this was the place to go. THIS IS DEFINITELY THE PLACE TO GO! Amazing, flavorful pizza! Very fresh and reasonably priced! Extremely happy with the quality! Best ranch I’ve had!
