We are currently here for 2 weeks, we have been staying for a few years now, absolutely love housekeeping, these ladies rock. I see them coming in each morning singing and smiling. Just a great well rounded staff. It's a pleasure seeing them each morning and the mood is set for the day. Very upbeat and give you the feeling they are happy to be here. I have to admit I was nervous about our stay when I heard the property has sold, and at check in was a little ruff, but texting and emailing fixed the issues almost instantly. We have 5 other rooms with family coming in next week. We enjoy the family feeling of this place please please don't change that...rooms are clean and always well stocked with everything you need. Conveniently located to everything and we are on the beach. Welcome to the new owners and wishing you much success.

Location is excellent! Walk to grocery store, eateries, shopping etc. Great family place with pool. Not fancy but oceanfront! Grill to cook outside with picnic tables.

Haven't stayed yet,got an up coming trip there next month, but I was recommended this place and the views are heart warming. I hope my stay is pleasant. I really wanted a room with ocean views, and kitchenette, but we'll see.I know the reservation process was easy.

My family and I loved our time at this hotel! We were right on the beach with an ocean front view. Also, my wife and I were very impressed with the hospitality shown by all of the employees. Room service was offered at the same time every morning and even if you declined they still left an ample amount of fresh towels and everything you needed for your morning coffee. Things we all can agree are necessities on the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel for all age groups!!

Call them. I think you have to pay extra. It's a great little motel so I would call first.

No but you can ask the front desk how many rooms it goes by and you ask for the first floor
This is the Pelican Motel in Cherry Grove, SC. There is a Pelican Inn in Pswleys Island that some say is haunted. Maybe that's the one you're thinking about.
They have different rates depending on the room. Some rooms have a kitchen,also location of room. Thier website has all the rates for year round. Rates are very good we paid just under $500 for a whole week ocean front room in August!
