I had to make a last minute trip on July 7th and found this hotel on my way. Getting off the interstate and into the hotel was easier than going through a rest area! I was greeted at the door like I was their most favorite guest and I had never been there before. My room was as it was advertised and welcoming. The shower was just what I needed after all my driving and I slept and woke up refreshed and ready to continue on! Breakfast was yummy and more employees made my morning refreshing. This hotel is a saved address for me, as I will definitely stay there if ever in this area and needing a rest! Thanks, guys! Well done!

Do not expect cleanliness, quiet, or comfort from this hotel. With that being said, the issue is obviously with the owners and there is only so much that the actual hotel staff can do. And they are truly trying their best. I witnessed another hotel guest attempt to handle a complaint by threatening to call the police and screaming at John, the kind man working the desk. There was 0 tact, 0 diplomacy in how the man (his review is below) tried to remediate the situation. If that is an example of what the poor employees here have to deal with, then God bless them. I wouldn’t take being threatened with a ‘service dog’ well either. The owners need to step up and make some drastic changes at their hotel if they want to improve guest experiences, and actually provide services that match the over-priced cost of staying at this hotel. It felt foolish to pay $100+ a night at a hotel that was filthy, loud, uncomfortable and smelled odd.

Trash strewn everywhere on the stairwells, no elevators, thin, scratchy towels, terrible soap and no shampoo or other common amenities. Also they charged us extra for arriving at a strange time. It wasn't entirely bad: the rooms were clean and it was as quiet as a hotel right next to an Interstate can be. But I can't imagine staying here again.

I travel every month to every other month and I've never had a place charge me before I even arrive. They took my money the morning I was supposed to arrive. Then, the next day I'm told the system only charged me for 1 night instead of 2. I looked at my account and they had given me 1 nights stay back on my card, so I went to the front desk and they charged me $4 more than the original price but it was only $4 so I just left that alone. The smell of weed was very strong throughout the hallway. I woke up in the middle of the night with the smell so strong I couldn't sleep well. They said if they smell any perfume or insense etc.. in our room then we couldn't get our deposit back so I had to just deal with the smell. The bed was super old. I could feel the springs in certain places in my back so I just slept on the other side, luckily it was a king bed so I could do that. The pillows were literally the size of a decorative small pillow. Take a queen pillow and cut in half, thats the size of the pillows. The door to the outside leading from the steps didn't lock so anyone could just walk in. No elevators. Shower had no shelving so I had to put my bar of soap on the floor of the shower on a rag. Definitely outdated. Friendly staff though.
